The author has always created stories for his children and when role playing games came along they were irresistible. This story and the following volumes are for young adult and upwards.

He is retired now and can devote more time to them. He is interested in the natural world, engineering, map making and inventing; so this comes unbidden into the scene.

He married with two children and grandchildren, and has self-published several stories for them in the 8-11 age range.
